Both my parents painted, so I grew up in a family that encouraged me to be creative. I always loved to make things with my hands, to draw and design. After I finished University of Architecture in Belgrade I started to participate in applied artist exhibitions, and received a few prizes which gave confidence to start my own workshop. Today I have two small shops in Belgrade, Serbia where I sell my bags.

I generally use leather, but sometimes, specially for the luxury evening clutches, or summer bags I combine leather with some fabric materials. I simply love the way leather can be molded and folded, the way it can be both soft and hard at the same time. Leather is so versatile and always different. And finally it grows old so gracefully...

I am an architect, but as a young girl I thought that I will grow to be a painter. I traveled a lot and spent two years in Africa where I was introduced to African batik, with flour mixture, which I loved so I started to make all sort of things from my batiks. Pillows, table mats and finally for one of my first exhibitions I decided to make a handbag line. I found out that bags combine my love for architecture, fashion and sculpture. Bags are just like little houses, they have to be both beautiful and functional.

I love to experiment, both with a design and materials. I believe that my bags surprise people at first, they are not sure if they like it or not, but after a while they fall in love with them. I love to make hidden pockets, unusual handles, convertible bags that can change shape and form in a second. I sometimes do orders, specially for weddings. Few times a customer wanted me to use materials I didn’t like or to make some small adjustments. I hated to do something I wasn’t really happy about.
