1. Is not, are just a bit ugly - Paul from Paris/Fr, June 12, 2009.
2. Ugly?! You have to be insane to reffer to these bags as ugly! I love them - Lola from USA, July 13, 2009.

During my last year at Fashion College I began working as an outworker for Molton Brown of South Molton St. W1, soon I began designing accessories for them and these attracted significant press and many international accounts. Although I had intended to do clothing design I discovered a real passion for accessories which lead to me launching my own collection back in 1990 with one intention: to manufacture high quality ladies accessories, featuring innovative designs with imaginative detailing. Quintessentially British the brand is widely recognized for it’s distinctive image and feel. The collections retail worldwide and are shown in London , Paris and Tokyo.

We try to remain true to our core principals: only to use the best raw materials; Italian leather, Swiss cotton, Irish linen, pure silk and wool and  to keep production within Europe (principally the UK), to ensure there is no compromise on attention to detail. In 2009 we were fortunate to inherit over 25,000 original vintage moulds which were made in the UK from the 1960’s-1990’s. We are slowly getting this cast and set to incorporate in our range. Our bags are designed for women who are understated but effortlessly stylish. Who like beautiful bags but also like beautiful things inside their bags.

In August 2008 we suffered a break in to our premises. Our new collection due to be sent out to Japan fashion week the following day was gone as were all our samples for London Fashion Week. Having already booked and paid for the shows I knew that this, coupled with not showing may well bankrupt the business. Fortunately, with a lot of determination, long hours and a lot of help from our loyal manufacturers we somehow managed to get most of the samples re- made and shipped to Japan the day before the show. We then had them shipped back to arrive the day before London Fashion Week.

I am as enthusiastic now about my work as the day I started, choosing new materials and range reviews still feels like being in a candy store! In real terms I spend more time at work then at home, so doing a job one loves is a huge bonus!  Great achievements for me are emotional not fiscal, but the one I will always remember is the first time I saw a complete stranger showing off with a Nadia Minkoff handbag she had just bought to one of her friends in a West End theater!! I kept thinking should I tap her shoulder and tell her “guess what? it’s me Nadia Minkoff!”
