Morgan Rhea's Company has been inspired by her senior collection called "SIlently Speaking Gratitude." Morgan just recently started her brand. While at SCAD she learned that she loved the process of hand making an item. She felt that you can connect better with the consumer on what they are looking for in an accessory.

Morgan just recently graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Accessory Design. She also attended Kanawha Valley Community and Technical College in her hometown after graduating from high school where she earned her Associates Degree in Fashion Merchandising. At SCAD she was taught from top professionals on how to hand make handbags from start to finish. Her focus while in school was handbags and footwear.

Morgan's inspiration comes from people and their stories about their journey in life. She loves classic silhouettes that are going to last a lifetime and from season to season. Morgan started watching "I Love Lucy" shows as a child and still does today. She draws a lot of inspiration from the 1950's.

Morgan's bags are made from burnishable buffalo leather and cowhide lining. She does her own technique of hand patina with different creams. She also hand stitches the entire bag for a more classic look and she also wants the bag to last for generations to come which was validated with her win of the 2014 Independent Handbag Designer Awards for Best Student Made Handbag.

Morgan's brand is just starting off. She is focused on the customer and their story. She wants the customer to be able to interact with their accessory by having either their story written upon the bag or a story of someone who has touched their life.
