| The MAGIC and PROJECT tradeshows finished this week in Las Vegas. As we walked the show, we saw a glaring handbag trend. More than ever, designers are finding ways to incorporate space for an iPad or personal reader into their silhouettes. Many brands have started to create specific compartments or have made their bags large enough to fit one. For Spring, watch designers go one step further, combining the iPad shape and handbag into one.

Already in the marketplace, we've seen interesting styles. From embellished, glammed-up cases by Abas that are light weight and offer a bit of of eye candy, to the M-Edge Trip Jacket that is reminiscent of your tried-and-true Moleskin, there are many styles out. Even luxury brands like Louis Vuitton and Gucci are playing in this category. However, the case may just cost you as much as the iPad.
